Overview

The CYL Vertical Laying-Up Machine is developed for cable projects where cable diameter, reel size and operating load are too large for conventional horizontal cabling equipment. Its vertical arrangement is especially suitable for assembling large power cable cores while providing the structural capacity required for heavy rotating components and high-value cable products.

The equipment can be configured for medium-voltage, high-voltage and extra-high-voltage cable production, including submarine and land cable structures. In addition to core laying-up, the line can also be arranged for steel-wire armoring, allowing manufacturers to cover more than one heavy-duty cabling process with the same equipment platform.
