The LBF Aluminum Sheathing Continuous Extrusion Machine is engineered for cable manufacturers that require a continuous and reliable process for forming aluminum sheaths around power cables. It converts aluminum rod into a continuous aluminum tube that can serve as a metallic protective sheath for medium-voltage (MV), high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) cable constructions.
Its continuous extrusion process supports consistent tube dimensions and controlled wall thickness, while the downstream corrugation capability allows the aluminum sheath geometry to be adapted to cable design requirements. The equipment is suitable for integration into complete power-cable production lines where production stability, repeatability and dimensional control are important.
Continuous extrusion supports uninterrupted aluminum tube production for efficient cable sheathing operations.
Developed for seamless aluminum metallic sheathing used in medium-, high- and extra-high-voltage power cable manufacturing.
The available wall-thickness range helps manufacturers match different cable designs and mechanical protection requirements.
Corrugation pitch and depth can be configured within the specified ranges to suit different sheath structures.
LBF350×2 and LBF420×2 models provide different extrusion outputs for production planning and capacity matching.
| Model | Aluminum Rod | Extrusion Output | Aluminum Tube Wall | Aluminum Tube Corrugation | Aluminum Tube Corrugation | Production Line |
