Company Profile

Overview

The JLK Rigid Stranding Machine is designed for stranding aluminum or copper wires into high-quality conductors for power cable and electrical cable manufacturing. It supports round compacted conductors, sector-shaped compacted conductors and segmented conductor structures, with pre-twisting and compaction functions available according to the required cable design.
With multiple bobbin configurations and both standard and high-speed options, the machine can be selected according to conductor material, single-wire diameter, strand construction and target output. The rigid cage structure helps maintain stable rotation, controlled wire tension and consistent strand geometry during continuous production.

What materials can the JLK Rigid Stranding Machine process?
It is designed for both copper and aluminum wire stranding and is suitable for producing electrical conductors used in power cable and cable manufacturing.
What conductor structures can the machine produce?
It can be configured for round compacted conductors, sector-shaped compacted conductors and segmented conductors. Pre-twisting and compaction functions can be selected according to the required conductor design.
What bobbin configurations are available?
The listed configurations include 6B, 12B, 18B, 24B, 30B and 36B, allowing the machine to cover different conductor constructions and production capacities.
What is the difference between the standard and high-speed Ø630 versions?
The high-speed Ø630 version provides higher maximum rotational speeds. For example, the listed 6B maximum speed for copper is 325 rpm in the high-speed version and 215 rpm in the standard version.
What wire diameter range can the machine handle?
For the listed specifications, aluminum wire is Ø1.8–Ø5.0 mm for the Ø500 and standard Ø630 configurations, while the high-speed Ø630 configuration supports aluminum wire up to Ø6.6 mm. Copper wire is Ø1.2–Ø5.0 mm.
Can the machine produce compacted conductors?
Yes. The machine is intended for conductor stranding applications that include round compaction and sector compaction, depending on the selected configuration and tooling.
