The furnace uses natural gas burners and a rectangular fixed reverberatory chamber to provide stable flame heating and heat reflection. The refractory structure helps retain heat and improve thermal utilization during copper melting.
The furnace chamber temperature is designed for 1,300-1,400 deg C, while molten copper temperature is approximately 1,200 deg C. This supports stable copper melting, reduction and transfer for downstream production.
With a rated capacity of 60 tons, the furnace is suitable for batch copper melting and industrial-scale copper rod production.
The furnace bottom, wall and roof use refractory brick structures such as magnesia brick, chrome-magnesia brick, magnesia-alumina brick and clay brick. The furnace roof adopts expansion joints to improve thermal stability under temperature fluctuation.
The furnace can process copper scrap and electrolytic copper. Furnace layout, auxiliary systems, flue structure, control system and discharging arrangement can be customized according to project requirements.
