Copper Rod Production Solution.

From Copper Cathode or Selected Recycled Copper to High-Quality Copper Rod.

Solution Overview

Custom-Tailored Integrated System

A good copper rod line should deliver stable conductivity, consistent rod size, reliable wire-drawing performance and controlled production cost. We match the process and equipment as one complete system.

Copper Production Line Solution

The line can be configured for copper cathode or suitable recycled copper. Main steps include melting, refining or holding, casting, rolling or upward casting, cooling and coiling.

Solution Overview

The process is selected according to the required copper grade and final use. Cable and wire factories usually focus on conductivity, oxygen level, surface quality, rod diameter and smooth downstream drawing.

Core Equipment

Equipment Role in the Solution
Copper Charging System Raw material feeding and handling.
Melting Furnace Melts copper for continuous production.
Holding / Refining Furnace Stabilizes molten copper before casting.
Molten Copper Transfer Transfers molten copper safely to the casting section.
Continuous Casting Machine Produces continuous copper cast bar.
Copper Rod Rolling Mill Rolls cast bar into copper rod.
Cooling & Coiling System Cools and coils finished rod.
Electrical Control System Controls line operation and monitoring.

Production Process

We deliver complete copper rod manufacturing solutions, ranging from raw copper feeding, melting‑holding, continuous casting‑rolling to cooling and coiling. Our system produces high‑quality copper rod for wire drawing, cable and conductor manufacturing.

Stage 01
Raw Material

Copper cathode or selected recycled copper.

Stage 02
Melting & Holding

Copper is melted and the molten metal is kept stable.

Stage 03
Casting & Forming

Use continuous casting + rolling, or upward casting for oxygen-free rod.

Stage 04
Cooling & Coiling

Copper rod is cooled and coiled for storage or wire drawing.

What copper production lines can you supply?
We can provide Copper Rod Production Line, Copper Rod CCR Line, 8mm Copper Rods CCR Line, Copper Rod Upcast Line, Oxygen Free Copper Rod Upcast Machine, copper furnace systems, Cable Production Line, High and Low Voltage Cable Production Line and Lithium Battery Copper Foil Production Line solutions.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Please provide raw material, finished product, required capacity, rod diameter or cable type, workshop layout, voltage and frequency, automation preference and any special quality requirements.
Can the capacity be customized?
Yes. For copper rod CCR projects, capacity can be planned according to project requirements. The source material references 15T/h, 25T/h, 35T/h and 48T/h CCR line options, and other configurations can be discussed.
What is the difference between a Copper Rod CCR Line and a Copper Rod Upcast Line?
A Copper Rod CCR Line normally produces low-oxygen copper rod through continuous casting and rolling, while a Copper Rod Upcast Line produces oxygen-free copper rod through upward continuous casting. The best choice depends on product application and quality requirements.
Do you provide installation and commissioning?
Yes. Installation guidance, commissioning, operator training and technical support can be provided according to the final project scope and contract.
Can you upgrade an existing copper production line?
Yes. We can review existing furnace, casting, rolling, coiling or control systems and provide technical upgrading plans, replacement equipment or spare parts support.
Do you supply spare parts?
Yes. Spare parts can be supplied according to equipment model, production line configuration and customer maintenance plan.
Can you support cable production after copper rod production?
Yes. We can also provide Cable Production Line and High and Low Voltage Cable Production Line solutions for customers who want to extend from copper rod to finished cable manufacturing.
