Project Case: 10T/H Aluminum Alloy Rod Production Line for Midal Cables Dammam Plant

In 2023, PINMI successfully participated in the **Bahrain Midal Cables Dammam Plant project**, located in the **Second Industrial City of Dammam, Saudi Arabia**. The project was designed for a **10T/H aluminum alloy rod production line**, supporting the client’s cable conductor manufacturing capacity in the Middle East market.

For this project, PINMI supplied and constructed a complete aluminum furnace system, including **2×55T aluminum melting tilting furnaces** and **2×25T tilting holding furnaces**. The furnace system was integrated with the client’s **Italian CCR production line**, forming a reliable aluminum alloy rod continuous casting and rolling production solution for large-scale cable manufacturing.

Project Challenges

The project was executed under extremely demanding desert conditions. During construction, the team faced multiple challenges, including severe local material shortages, a lack of experienced construction workers, extremely hot weather, and major delays in civil engineering works. In addition, the project schedule overlapped with China’s National Day and Spring Festival holidays, creating further pressure on engineering coordination and delivery time.

Despite these challenges, PINMI maintained continuous on-site execution, strict construction management and quality control throughout the entire project. Our team worked closely with the client’s civil engineering progress to ensure the furnace system could be delivered in synchronization with the overall plant construction schedule.

By constructing the furnace system according to the client’s original Italian aluminum melting furnace drawings and technical requirements, PINMI helped Midal Cables significantly reduce capital investment and construction costs while ensuring reliable production performance.
